Biography
Dr. Hanff is an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist at the University of Utah. He is recognized internationally for his work investigating cardiogenic shock pathophysiologic mechanisms, and as Utah's Medical Director of Temporary Mechanical Circulatory Support he helps lead their
Cardiogenic Shock Team. Additionally, he is the Heart Failure section director at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. He attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University and completed clinical training and post-doctoral research training at the University of Pennsylvania.
